Viongozi walioudhulia uzinduzi rasmi wa balaza hilo, kutoka kushoto ni Rev. Canon Thomas Godda, Jaji Mstaafu R. Mwaikasu, Sheikh Amir Mussa  Kundecha na Berious Nyasebwa ambaye alikuja kama mwakilishi wa waziri wa mambo ya ndani nchini..

Mwazilishi wa WCRP mama Hindu Lilla aliyeanzisha harakati za kudai ustawi wa jamii kupitia kuipa changamoto Umoja wa Mataifa ili kuachana na vita ikiwa kina mama ndiyo wanaoathirika zaidi.
Baadhi ya wageni waalikwa na viongozi mbalimbali wa taasisi za dini nchini ambao wameudhulia uzinduzi huo wa kipekee wa kuunganisha madhehebu ya dini nchini na kuwa na balaza moja lenye sauti.

Naibu balozi wa Ujerumani nchini John Reyels akiongea nafasi ya ujerumani katika kuthamini umoja na ushirikiano wa dini mbalimbali kwani ndiyo wenye sauti kubwa katika kulilia Amani duniani kote.

Father Antony Makunde kutoka TEC akiongea na viongozi wa dini mbalimbali, viongozi wa serikali, balozi na sekta mbalimbali waliohudhulia kabla ya kuwakilisha Hati ya Maridhiano Kati ya Taasisi za Dini mapema leo tarehe 12.11.2016 katika hotel ya New Africa Hotel Jijini Dar Es Salaam.

Kulia ni Sheikh Jalala Mwakindendenge ambaye ni imam na mwakilishi wa madhehebu ya waislam wa shia nchini na kushoto kwake, Sheikh Ghawth Salum Nyambwa yeye ni naibu Imam na mwenyekiti kwa madhehebu ya waislam wa shia nchini.



Viongozi mbalimbali wa dini zilizohudhulia uzinduzi rasmi wa Baraza la Dini Mbalimbali la Amani Tanzania (Inter –Religious Council for Peace Tanzania) wakitia sahihi hati ya makubaliano na katika vitabu vya kumbukumbu, kutoka kulia ni Askofu Tarcisius J.M Ngalalekumtwa, katikati ni Tahir Mahmood Chaudhry kutoka jumuhiya ya Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Tanzania na Kishor Thakrah wa Hindu Council of Tanzania. Waliosimama kwa nyuma ni viongozi wa serikali na wawakilishi wa ofisi za balozi wakishuhudia tukio la kihistoria.

INTER-Religious Council for Peace Tanzania (IRCPT) yesterday signed memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between religious institutions on cooperation to strengthen peace, understanding and tranquility for Development and People’s Prosperity.

Speaking on behalf of the Muslim Council of Tanzania (BAKWATA), at the official launch of the National Council of Religious Leaders, Sheikh Amir Kundecha said the aim of the MoU was to consolidate peace in the country through discussion and consultations.

He said as result IRCPT strengthen the idea of cooperation among the people of different faiths in social, economic and political,  further religious leaders have agreed to strengthen good relations and encourage fellows to respect value and protect human life, to be tolerant and avoid being the source of misunderstandings, chaos and war.

“We as religious leaders are eager to support all efforts being undertaken to consolidate peace inside and outside the country for the people’s development, we leaders of religious institutions with national registration accede and agree to officially register and lead institutions to be called: Inter Religious Council for Peace Tanzania” he said.

IRCPT secretary General Rev Canon Thomas Khoda said the interfaith dialogue was opportunity, space in which people can meet up, share concerns, hear each other’s points of view and acknowledges their shared values, also said IRCP strives to strengthen religious respect and tolerance through collaboration and constructive dialogues.
“It is inclusive form bringing together religious communities through their religious leaders and institutions”
Germany Deputy Ambassador John Reyels commended efforts made by Tanzania to sustain voice dialogue among the religious leaders.

He said Tanzania has a diversity culture and religious believes, therefore it was right for them to establish platform of dialoging. “On behalf of the Germany Government, I’m here to learn how you coordinate interfaith dialogue to eliminate hatred among the people. We are still learning,” he said

He highlighted the need to sustain the religious interfaith dialogue to harmonize peace and strengthen unity among the people. According to the deputy ambassadors, he was astonished on the way issues were solved adding that it was a lesson for him.

Expressing government concern, the Legal Officer in the Ministry for home affairs, Berious Nyasebwa said the government recognizes the contribution made by the religious leaders. He said that it was the time for them to form codes of conduct that among others will help to harmonize peace and control quarrels.


“IRCP is like a bridge between the government and religious leaders. Therefore you are taken to task to be abide by laws,” he said
